Mary Louise Steele

Mary Louise Steele, 68, Arvada passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 in her home. Born on June 27, 1950 in Colorado she was the daughter of Rosemary A. (Miller) and Fred L. Dornbrock. Mary married Shawn Steele on September 21, 1996 and together they shared 23 years of marriage.

Mary spent most of her life in Central City, before moving to Arvada 13 years ago.

She worked in her mother's antique shop in Central City before becoming a shift supervisor at a local casino.

Mary enjoyed tending to her many flowers, taking care of her dogs and cat. She also enjoyed Avalanche Hockey, taking her granddaughter Katlyn to the games making sure she was dressed to the nines. Later traveling to watch her grandson Layne ""the big guy"" play football.

In addition to her husband, Shawn, she is survived by her son, Anthony Green and his wife, Chrissy, and her grandchildren, Katlyn Green and Layne Green, her fur children Abby and Cooper. As well as many cousins and other family members.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 28, 2019 at 11:00 am at Horan & McConaty, 7577 W. 80th Ave. Arvada, CO 80003.
