Mary Ann Suarez

August 4, 1949 — September 28, 2008

Mary Ann Suarez entered into life on August 4, 1949. With all the wonders of the world ahead of her, she would one day discover the greatest wonder of all, the love of God. You see, MaryAnn had a gift from God and a purpose to fulfill. A gift that would touch many lives throughout the journey of life here on earth. Whether she was a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister or friend she had a great impact on our lives. Her God-given gift would lead her to touch each and every person in her own way. She may have used the word of God to encourage you, it may have been a moment that was shared of laughter or tears, or she may have just fulfilled your life by just being a part of it. Mary Ann enjoyed so many things in life and did not take one moment for granted. She enjoyed making flower arrangements for all different type of events. She had a natural talent for this. Everyone expressed how talented she was. She gave her all in everything that she did. She was a perfectionist. She loved to cook and enjoyed eating her delicious meals. She enjoyed her family, friends, and the holidays. She enjoyed camping and family outings. She loved her children unconditionally and gave us her all. She instilled her beliefs and morals in her children. She was a faithful and devoted wife. She loved her husband with whom she shared 38 wonderful years of marriage together. She adored her precious grandchildren and took delight in them. She enjoyed going to church and praising God. She was a strong person and had firm beliefs. She would not hesitate whenever she saw an opportunity to share God's word. She loved to encourage people. This was another special gift she had. Throughout her battle with cancer, she was determined to serve God and use this opportunity despite the circumstances to fulfill Gods purpose. There were plenty of opportunities at the cancer center where she would get her Chemo Therapy treatments. Nearly every visit, she would meet someone new and share God's word and pray for them in an effort to give them hope. These were the times when she herself was fighting her own illness. She encouraged many of her co-workers as well and had great impacts on many of them. Blessings were returned to her when co-workers donated over 2000 hours of their own time off to allow her to take time off from work during her chemo treatments. This donated time off carried her for two full years leading her up to her retirement in April 2008. She was smart, funny and always had a good attitude. We loved her and she meant everything to us. She was precious and a gift to all of us. Of all the things that she enjoyed, God was her number one passion. God lived within her and it shined through her. Mary Ann Patricia Suarez, was our angel here on earth until God called her home to serve him on September 28, 2008. ""I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day-and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing."" 2 Timothy 4:7 Entered in to life August 4, 1949.
