Mary Jean Sullivan

Mary Jean (Drake) Sullivan, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2017 at the age of 85, or as she would say, 21 1/2 because she was born on a leap year on Feb. 29, 1932 to John and Maude Drake of Canon City, CO. Mary Jean is survived by her son, Michael P. (Stacy) Sullivan; and grandchildren: Matthew and Sarah Sullivan. She graduated from St. Francis De Sales Grade School and then went to Denver University where she was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority. Mary enjoyed her family weekends going to Winter Park on the Eskimo Ski Club Ski Train. She helped hundreds of kids put on skis and keep warm in the warming shack. Funeral Mass on Fri., Oct. 27, 2017 at 10AM at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 2250 S. Harrison St., Denver. Mary and her family are deeply appreciative of her friends, family and caregivers.
