Mary Von Feldt

Mary Elizabeth (Carleno) Von Feldt entered the kingdom of heaven February 25, 2023 surrounded by her children. She was born on August 24, 1938 and was 84 years old.

Mary Elizabeth was a loving stay-at-home mother until her children left the nest.

She then turned her talents to running Hanneck Cleaners. She was a formidable business woman and a fierce friend.

Mary Elizabeth enjoyed life in all its enormity. She loved her yearly spring trips to Mexico and entertaining family and friends in her home.

She had a home in Durango that was her favorite retreat from busy Denver. Cooking and eating great food was a passion for Mary E. that she passed on to her children and grandchildren.

Mary E. is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert John Von Feldt and two infant boys. She is survived by her children, Jean Spahr, Lisa Von Feldt and Joe Von Feldt. Her sister, Janelle Carleno. Grandchildren Ben (Jessica) Spahr, Ryan Von Feldt and Elizabeth (Christian) Janzen.

And Mary E. was particularly crazy about her great grandchildren, the joys of her life, Veronica, Melody, Luke and baby Bo. And other members of the family, Natty Von Feldt, Sharon Green and little Julianna.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 2, 2023, 4pm-7pm, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 1091 S. Colorado Blvd., Denver. Funeral Mass Friday, March 3, 2023, 9am, Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 2626 E. 7th Avenue, Denver. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Wheat Ridge.
