Maryellen graduated from Belleville High School and worked for the McKinley Auto Dealership and eventually met her husband, Leonard Seltenreich in Illinois.  Leonard was an Electrician’s Mate in the Navy, and after his service was completed, they eventually married in 1958.  Soon after their marriage, they moved to Albuquerque New Mexico to start their careers and family.  After the birth of their two sons David, the family moved to Colorado and finally established residence in Arvada Colorado, where Maryellen remained for 54 years until her passing.
