Matthew Scott Kramer, of Arvada, was killed in a freak bicycle accident on September 2, 2013. He would have been 31 years old in 12 days. He was born on September 14, 1982 in Missouri to John and Susie Kramer who now reside in Texas. He has one son, Andrew Jacob, who resides with his grandparents in Texas. He was married to Katherine Power who loved him dearly, and resided with him in Arvada, with their extended family. Matt was a very gifted chef, and a culinary arts student at Johnson and Wales University. He loved cooking, and was overjoyed when he was hired to be a chef at Inverness Hotels in Centennial, Colorado. He always talked very highly of his co-workers and especially Chef Ryan who was his supervisor there. Matt also loved the outdoors. He often took out walking to go be in the parks and in nature, or riding his bicycle. He was also learning to ride a motorcycle. He loved cars and was starting to learn to work on them and modify them for racing. Matt is survived by his wife, Kat, his parents John and Susie, his son Andrew, his extended family Kitty, Forrest, Kit, Kendal, Kitten and Dren, all who miss him extremely bad.
