Maude B. Sundvik of Denver. Born in Chicago March 11, 1916. At the age of 26, she enlisted in the WAAC in 1943. She is a veteran of WWII and Korean War. She also served in the Army Reserves during the Vietnam War and retired as a Sergeant First Class in 1976. Maude moved to Denver in 1957 and worked for the laboratory of the State Health Dept. and in the Handicapped Children's Program, from which she retired. Sister of Elvera Vehlow, Rolling Meadows, IL; aunt of Carol Vehlow-Schmid, Canada and Robert A. Vehlow, Illinois. Also survived by her good friend, Jean A. Bowles, Ph.D., Denver. Funeral Service, Wednesday 11:00 am, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 1091 S. Colorado Blvd. Interment to follow at 1:00, Fort Logan National Cemetery.
