Maureen ""Reenie"" Wise, 76, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2018 at Denver Hospice Inpatient Care Center. A lifelong native of Denver, she was the daughter to the late Edward R. and Denise Law Walsh. Maureen retired from United Airlines as a customer service representative after 34 years of service. She was a golf enthusiast, a green thumb gardener, and a devoted mother and grandmother.
Reenie leaves behind her husband, Alan Wise; daughters, Erin Wise-Jones and her husband, Geoff, and Amy Wise; grandchildren, Shannon Jones and Sydney Jones; brothers, John Walsh and Jim Walsh, and his wife, Margo; nephews, Marcus Richardson, Tomas Walsh, Kevin Walsh and Sean Walsh; and a niece, Denise Walsh-Barton. One great niece, several great nephews and special friends also survive.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staffs of Denver Hospice and Elevation Hospice for the love and care shown to Reenie and the entire family during their time of need.
A Funeral Mass to honor the life of Maureen ""Reenie"" Wise will be conducted at 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 12, 2018 at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, 2375 East Arizona Avenue, Denver, CO 80210, with Rev. Douglas Grandin officiating. A reception will immediately follow at Maureen's residence.
