Maurice Leo Farnan

Maurice L. (Morrie) Farnan of Denver, CO Born in Maryville, MO on November 25, 1937 Passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2008 He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Gertrude and his son, Brad. He is survived by wife, Bea; daughters Ann (Stephen) Crow and Amy (Sarina Compoz) Farnan; granddaughters, Kaleigh Marie Crow and Sophia Farnan Compoz. Morrie was the youngest of a large, loving family. Siblings include: Irvin (Edna, deceased) Farnan, Robert (Alice, deceased) Farnan, Alice (Robert) Barmann, John (Helen) Farnan, Wilfred Farnan (deceased) and Mary Ann (deceased) (Al) Reeves. Morrie graduated college and moved to Denver from Missouri in 1959. He taught at Rishel Middle School for 33 years. During that time he enjoyed a number of side careers including real estate, an antique business and estate sale business. He was a loving father and friend to many and his Irish spirit and humor will shine on through the many lives he touched throughout his life. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 13th, 10AM at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 2190 S. Sheridan Blvd. Interment, Mount Olivet Cemetery.
