Max Gollasch

Edward MAX Gollasch, 85, of Aurora, Colorado, passed away September 10, 2015. He was born February 8, 1930 in Oil City, Pennsylvania to Waldemar and Antonina Gollasch. Max was one of six children growing up. He met and married his sweetheart, Virginia Tenza and they had four children. He servied in the United States Air Force for 8 years. Following his service in the military, he opened an Auto service station in Denver called Max's Service Shop. He later moved his business to Aurora where it became Max's Radiator Shop. Max enjoyed the outdoors, especially his time hunting and working in his Garden. He also enjoyed gambling and drinking beer. Max is loved by many and will be dearly missed. He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Virginia T. Gollasch; three children, Max Gollasch (wife, Merry), Cathy Tacinas, Teresa Burke (husband, Steve); grandchildren, Stephanie Foster, Joshua Foster, Joseph Gollasch, Patrick Gollasch, Sean Tacinas, Alexandria Tacinas, Danielle Burke and Connor Burke; great-grandchildren, Colton Gollasch, Rylee Gollasch, Nathan Gollasch and Hudson Bost. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Foster and all five of his siblings. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2015, 10:30am, at St. Michael The Archangel Catholic Church, 19099 East Floyd Ave., Aurora, CO 80013. A Private entombment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 12801 W. 44th Ave., Wheatridge, CO 80003
