Max E. Rageth

Max Elburn Rageth, 85, resident of Aurora, CO, passed away January 7, 2019. Max was born to William Henry Rageth and Velma Zuck Rageth on September 5, 1933 in Hamburg, IA. He graduated from Hamburg High School in 1951, and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in March, 1953. He was stationed in several locations, including Ellsworth AFB in Rapid City, when on a trip to Martin he would meet his future wife, Cheryl. He married Cheryl Ann Ninas in June, 1957. She was by his side as he passed. Max was preceded in death by his parents, his brother W.H. Rageth, Jr., Keith, and his son Randy. He is survived by his loving wife, son David, daughter-in-law Brenda, 3 grandchildren, Michael, Gregory, and Amanda, and two great-granddaughters, Ayden and Avery. Memorial services to be announced, with burial in the spring in Martin, S.D.
