Maxine Emily Johnson

Maxine Emily Johnson passed away January 24, 2017 at age 87 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's. She was born in Denver to Catherine and Roy Harris, also deceased. She is preceded in death by husbands Charles Edwin Johnson and James Vincent Travis. She is survived by her children Kathie (Mike) Kelly, Linda Travis (Grace Galliano), Mary (Doug) McCambridge and Tim (Kim) Travis. She also leaves behind six granddaughters. She is also survived by: one step child Amy (Dwane) Hansen, one step grandson, and one step great grandchild. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. followed by a Rosary Service at 7 p.m. at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, which is located at 5303 East County Line Road, Centennial, Colorado 80122. A Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, February 10, 2017 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church at 11 a.m., 8035 South Quebec, Centennial, Colorado 80112. Donations may be made in Maxine's honor to the Douglas County Libraries Foundation at 100 South Wilcox Street, Castle Rock, Colorado 80104 or the Alzheimer's Association of Colorado at 455 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203.
