Mayme A. Crist, age 99, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully on April 23, 2021.
Mayme was born on January 21, 1922 in Spencer, Nebraska to Anna and Joe Havranek. She graduated from high school and later went on to marry James (Jimmy) Crist. Mayme and Jimmy welcomed into the world three beautiful daughters, Cheryl, Patti and Mikki. Included in this loving family, was an honorary daughter of Mayme's, Ginger Coe. Mayme worked in telecommunications both for a telephone company in Denver, CO and for Amphenol in Longmont, CO. She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society through St. Therese Catholic Church. Mayme loved to dance, she took part in line dancing classes at Heather Gardens and also enjoyed playing cards.
Mayme is pre-deceased by her parents, Anna and Joe Havranek, her loving husband James Crist and her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughters Cheryl DeSantis (Tony), Patti Knudson (Sumner), Mikki Sirmans and Ginger Coe, grandchildren Matt DeSantis and Bretl DeSantis, great-grandchildren Ciera DeSantis, Lauren DeSantis and Nick DeSantis.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting those who wish, to please consider making a charitable donation to Optimal Hospice Care.
A Graveside Service to honor Mayme's life will take place on Tuesday, May 4th at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
