Meda Madge Scheidegger

Meda Madge 'Nan' Scheidegger, age 87, passed away and went to be with the Lord on April 29, 2007. She was born in Seibert, Colorado to William and Mable Calvin on March 20, 1920. She married Harold 'Dutch' Scheidegger on June 17, 1935 in Colorado Springs. They were married 62 years when he passed away in 1998. Meda was a homemaker and enjoying raising her children and spending a great deal of time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved playing cards (especially rummy) and bingo and was excellent with embroidery. Meda was very devoted to her family and had enjoyed her fourth generation great grandchildren immensely. Over the years, she and Dutch enjoyed bowling, dancing and many family gatherings. She is survived by daughters June Gunter, Aurora, Cheryl L. Gagnon (Dean), Watkins; four surviving grandchildren: Scott Gunter (Kathy), Kelli Gagnon, Kristi Howard (Marty), Kregg Gagnon and preceded in death by Doug Gunter. She was 'Nanny' to nine great~grandchildren: Joshua (16), K.J. (14), Aaron (14), Brittany (12) Kassi (11), Lauren (9), Cody (9), Sam (5) and Preston (3).
