Medora Janet ""Jan"" Rufien

Survived by husband Charlie; children Karen Rufien, Medora (Ross) Fralick, Paul Rufien, Margaret (Rick) Potter, Carolyn (Mike) Roberts; grandchildren Rene (Matt), Sean, Ian, Justin (Ashley), Chelsea (Josh), Melanie, Christina, Gabbie, Ryan, Jonathan, Joel, Rachel, Britton; great-grandchildren Jack, Ella, Nolan; sister Carolyn (Jack) Hembree; brother Clifford (Jean) McCormick. Jan was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who dedicated her life to loving, educating and uplifting others, particularly children. After decades as a kindergarten teacher, Jan continued her commitment through missionary work and sponsoring refugee families. Jan was loving, strong, courageous and inspiring.
