Melvin D. Smith

Melvin D. Smith, 74, of Littleton passed away on March 17, 2012 with his family by his side. He shared his life and blessed many with his love and friendship. He was a very loving husband and father who lived a full and happy life. He is survived by his father, Melvin E; children, Korrie (Charlie) Cherrington, Micheal (Kathleen) Smith, Aaron (Linda) Smith; grandchildren, Jeremy (Tara) Cherrington, JeanAnn (Jesse) Nieto, Shannon Smith, Kayleen Smith, Tymira Smith; great grandchildren, Zoë, Conrad, Samantha, Storm Cherrington; sister, Diana Frederick; and many friends. Preceded in death by wife Carol L. Services will be held Friday, March 23, 2012, 9:30am, at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Area ""B"", 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver, Colorado 80235. In lieu of flowers, donations to Denver Hospice and/or Kaiser Palliative Care.
