Melvin J. Trujillo

Melvin J. Trujillo, 87, beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2018. Mel was a Colorado native. Mel was married to Ermalinda Trujillo for 58 years. He is survived by his children Linda Reese (Joe), James (Maria) Trujillo, Leah Lefevre, Michael Trujillo, and Rita (Anthony) Cobb. Mel had 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Mel was a long time member of the Knights of Columbus Council 539. Donations can be made to the Knights of Columbus Council 539. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 8 PM at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, Colorado. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 12:00 Noon at Holy Name Catholic Church, 3290 West Milan Avenue, Sheridan, Colorado. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 1:15 PM at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver, Colorado. A reception will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2018 from 2:00 PM until 3:30 PM at Holy Name Catholic Church, 3290 West Milan Avenue, Sheridan, Colorado.
