Michael Larry Bullough

Michael Larry Bullough, 59, of Aurora, Colorado, passed away on Tuesday, January 14^th 2020. He was born to Larry Jackson Bullough and Zenda Claire Clawson Bullough in Salt Lake City, Utah on October 8^th, 1960.

Mike graduated from Olympus High School in Salt Lake. He was heavily involved in the Boy Scouts of America organization throughout his life having achieved his Eagle rank as a scout, and his Woodbadge as an adult. He also served on two Woodbadge staffs.

Mike was a service-oriented man. He served a two year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Paraguay Asuncion mission from 1979-1981. He spent time working in the Denver Temple for the Church on a weekly basis for the past 10 years and he has also served in many other capacities in the Church. A friend to many, Mike was known for his fantastic sense of humor, cheerful demeanor, and dedicated attitude towards his faith and his family.

Mike worked for the City of Thornton in the IT department for 23 years and was a well-valued and respected employee.

Mike married the love of his life, Cheri Lee Hurst on May 4^th, 1988 in the Salt Lake Temple. He is survived by wife, Cheri; daughter, Sarah (Rob) Bolt; son, James (Claire) Bullough; son, John (Heather) Bullough; daughter, Natalie Bullough; son, Brandon (Whitney) Bullough; and eight grandchildren with the ninth quickly approaching. He is also survived by his dear father Larry; siblings, Brad (Kathy) Bullough, Sue (Ted) Burningham, Kirk (Lynda) Bullough, and Shannon (Darrin) Smith. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., followed by the Memorial service which begins at 10 a.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 7405 S. Addison Ct. Aurora, CO 80016.

The burial will follow at St Simeon Catholic Cemetery in Aurora.
