Michael Daniel Cardinal

Mikey went to be with the Lord on June 10, 2020.

He was born on February 26, 1983, to Steven Cardinal and Virginia Carroll. Steven passed away quickly an unexpectedly while Mikey was still just a baby, but Addison Carroll stepped up to the plate as his step-father when he and Virginia found each other 31 years ago.

Mikey has left behind his brothers and sister William, Christopher, Derek, and Allison. He will be meeting his brothers Michael and Sheffie in Heaven, along with his father.

He graduated high school in the honors program, proof of strong work ethic which he carried to his work at the Cherry Creek Nursing Home. He helped serve meals to the residents, and food in general was another one of his passions. He was known for being able to eat the double cheeseburger at Rosie’s Diner while his mom could only handle half of the single!

Mikey loved going out on the pontoon boat until he found his next passion: fishing. He could fish all day every day if they let him. He also liked going for motorcycle rides with his family.

His warmth will be missed by all who knew him.
