Michael Ferraro

Michael “Mike” B. Ferraro passed away on Wednesday, March 15 at the age of 64.

He was born on September 6, 1958, in Plainfield, New Jersey, to Ronald “Ronnie” Ferraro and Helen “Pat” (Gilmore) Ferraro Fitzpatrick. Michael was a loving son, husband and friend, and proud father and grandfather.

Never one to shy away from hard work, he took pride in a strong work ethic. He never met a stranger and his willingness to help others was second to none. Large not only in stature but also personality, he had a boisterous laugh and a sense of humor that could fill a room with joy.

Michael will be missed by his wife of 41 years, Linda; his two children; Shane and his wife, Kristin; and Heather Cruz and her husband, AJ; along with his six grandchildren; Ryleigh, Brayden, Layten and Keygan Cruz, and Avery and Hayes Ferraro.

He is also survived by his mother; siblings; Donald and his wife, Shereé; Linda Carroll and her husband, Patrick; William “Billy” Fitzpatrick, III and his wife, Rachel; and Elizabeth “Beth” Klinger; and his stepmother, Linda (Messana) Ferraro.

He was preceded in death by his in-laws; Arthur “AJ” and Barbara (Greenwood) Hennessy; father; and stepfather, William “Bill” Fitzpatrick, Jr.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, March 23 at 12 p.m. at Horan & McConaty, located at 11150 E. Dartmouth Road in Aurora. Flowers are welcome.
