Michael 'Mick' Flak

Mick passed away at home on July 8, 2012 after a long illness. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Anne Flak and is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Ellen; his brothers John (Carolyn Sue) and Robert (Diana) Flak; his nieces Debra Mika, Denise Madden, and Jill Scott; his nephews John Flak, Jr. and Jeff Scott; and great neices Caitlin and Lauren Madden. Mick is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1969 and was employed by Great American Insurance Company. Given his unique sense of humor, we are comforted by the thought that Mick is entertaining everyone in heaven and is cycling his way through the universe. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at 11:00am at Church of the Risen Christ, 3060 South Monaco Parkway, Denver, Colorado 80222. Memorial contributions may be made in Mick's name to Vista Care Hospice, 4350 Wadsworth Boulevard, Suite #250, Wheat Ridge, Colorado 80033.
