Michael James Hayden

Michael James Hayden passed away on Tuesday February 6, 2024.  He was 18 years old.  Michael was a graduate of Cherry Creek Elevation and was attending college through Community College of Aurora.  Michael loved his family and friends.  He was a hard worker.  He loved video gaming, being outdoors, working out and walking his dog.   

Michael is survived by his parents, Maureen and Michael Hayden and his brother, Matthew; his grandparents, Michael & Carol Hayden, Lois Hayden and Maryann Burke; countless cousins and aunts and uncles.  

Despite his brief life, Michael made a significant impact and made memories that will last a lifetime.  He will be remembered for his outgoing personality and ability to make friends with anyone.  He was loved and cherished by many.  He will be forever missed by his family.  

His family will be holding a Catholic Mass at Our Lady of Loreto, located at 18000 East Arapahoe Road, Foxfield, CO 80016 at 11:30am, on Friday April 12, 2024.  The family will receive friends from 10:30am – 11:30am in the entrance of the church.

Afterwards, his family will be holding a Private Interment Service and a Celebration of Life. In Lieu of flowers, his family encourages a donation in Memory of Michael Hayden, to JDRF Diabetes Foundation.
