Michael David Jewett

Michael David Jewett, 66, passed away May 8, 2009. Husband of Marcy Richards; father of Shane (Amy) Jewett, Kerie Stuth, Chris Jewett, Brandon (Emily) Jewett, Dana Jewett and Lisa Jewett; grandfather of 10; brother of Irene (Dee) Murphy and Randy (Olivia) Jewett; and uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Michael touched many lives and will forever be loved and missed by all. Michael graduated from Brigham Young University and began a sales career with Phillips Petroleum Company. He then moved into the Telecommunications Industry with AT&T, US West and Northern Telecom. After retiring from Northern Telecom, he began a new career with Big O Tires in Tucson, Arizona. One of his passions from an early age was space and flight. Mike became an accomplished pilot and proud owner of a private aircraft. He mad may friends in this endeavor and provided service to others in the AirLifeLine programs. He was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed playing golf, football and baseball. Visitation Tuesday May 12, 5 - 8 pm at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave., Aurora. Funeral Service Wednesday, May 13, 11 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 740 Hudson St, Denver.
