Michael John Kaiser

Michael ""Mike"" Kaiser passed away, Sunday, July 12, 2015. There will be a visitation 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Thursday, July 16, at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 E Dartmouth Ave, Aurora, CO. A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, July 17, at Smoky Hill United Methodist Church, 19491 E Smoky Hill Rd, Centennial, CO. Mike was born September 21, 1958 in Sioux Falls, SD, to Edward and Ethel Kaiser. He graduated from Roncalli High School in 1977 and attended Lake Area Vocational Technical School in Watertown, SD. On August 9, 1980, he married Kim Smith, his soul mate. Mike was in the construction business for over 30 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish and taught his sons to do the same. His biggest joy was his four children; Jack, Kelcie, Tommy and Maggie. Besides spending time with his family, Mike enjoyed cooking, his truck and a love for music; and he always had a dog nearby. Mike is survived by his wife and four children; his brother, Ed (Arlys), sister Mary (Gene) Albrecht, brother Dan (Tracy) and brother-in-law Bill Charron; in-laws; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Kim Charron. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Chase Bank in the name of Michael Kaiser.
