Michael L. Kanas

Michael Lynn Kanas, 68, passed away in Centennial, Colorado on Friday, August 17, 2018.

Michael was born September 10, 1949 in Portland, Oregon. He grew up in Denver and lived in Parker/Centennial Colorado. He was part of the Air National Guard stationed at Buckley AFB. Michael was a jack of all trades, but he especially liked all things technical, and will be remembered for his lighthearted personality and determination to overcome even the worst things thrown his way.

His passion was taking care of those around him, especially his beautiful wife of 45 years and children and grandchild.

Survivors include his wife, Julie A. Kanas, his mother Mary M. Kanas, his sons, Michael John Kanas & Anthony W. Kanas, & grandson, Ronan Kanas. He was preceded in death by his Father, John Kanas.

Services will be held at the St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church located at 5555 S. Yosemite St in Greenwood Village at 10:30 AM on Friday, August 24. Burial will be at Fairmount Cemetery at 12:30 PM on the same day. Friends and Relatives are welcome to attend.
