MICHAEL A. KOENIG, 1952-2016 Michael Andrew Koenig, son of the late Kenneth and Grace O'Leary Koenig, died peacefully on July 7, 2016. He was born August 12, 1952 in St. Louis, Missouri. Mike was married for 39 years to Kathy Lech Koenig and they have son, Shane Koenig (Jaime) and granddaughter, Grace Colleen Koenig. He grew up in St. Joseph, Missouri and graduated from Central High School and Northwest Missouri State University, Maryville, Missouri. His entire working career was dedicated to the Dairy Processing Industry. This remained his passion together with his family. He is survived by brother Kevin Koenig (Sheila), St. Joseph, MO.; sisters, Gloria Chafen (Randy) and Karen Jorgensen, of KC., Missouri, and 5 nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Ken Koenig (Ellen), Ogden, Utah. Services will be Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Horan & McConaty, 5303 E. County Line Rd., Centennial, Colorado. Memorial from 4-5 p.m. and reception following.
