Michael taught us patience and perseverance, to love unconditionally without judgment, to communicate without words and to accept others knowing that we are more alike than we are different. He was a true fighter and never let on how much he endured. He gave us perspective on what is truly important in life and to be grateful for each new day.
Throughout his life he was surrounded by the caring hearts of nurses and caregivers with whom he enjoyed spending time and developed special relationships.
