Michael Ray McCallum

Mike was born on January 28, 1949. Mike had grown up in Houston, Texas and graduated from Aldine High School in 1967. Mike had a long and loving marriage with Michelle McCallum; they had met in 1979 and were married four years later on June 11, 1983. From there, Mike and Michelle had two children, Madison and Bobby. Mike had made a beautiful family and had an everlasting love for everyone in it. Mike currently worked for Suncor energy and was the superintendent of the west plant. He started working for the refinery in 1978; he worked hard, established himself and made many friends. In his free time, Mike would enjoy taking family camping and fishing trips. He enjoyed golfing and bowling. Mike was a very intelligent man - he loved reading history books and doing crosswords, always looking to learn more. Michael Ray McCallum was a loving husband, father, son and uncle. Survived by his wife, of 31 years Michelle McCallum; children, Madison McCallum and Bobby McCallum; granddaughters, Kaidence and soon to be Kenzy; mother, Catherine Elizabeth Gordon; many extended family members; and his Suncor Oil ""family"". Always able to bring a smile to your face and always there for those that needed him. Mike will be truly missed by many. Mike passed July 29, 2014. Viewing, Monday, August 4, 2014, at 12:00 pm, with Funeral Services beginning at 1:00 pm, both at King of Glory Lutheran Church, 10001 West 58th Avenue, Arvada, Colorado 80002. Interment immediately follows at Arvada Cemetery.
