Michael John Rogers was born on May 25, 1957 to Hellen and Neal Rogers. Michael peacefully passed away in his home on February 2, 2022, of natural causes.
Michael was born and raised in Denver Colorado. He attended Ft. Lewis College and obtained his Bachelor of Administration in 1983.
He married Annette Rogers in 1984, and they were married for 27 years, with a total of 32 years of being together. He left in his memory his daughter, Courtney Zink; son, Neal Rogers; grandson, Anthony Rogers; brother, Stephen Rogers; sister, Sandra Lewis; nephews, Jesse Rogers and Zachary Lewis; and niece Theresa Rogers.
Michael was an avid classic car collector and recently a tattoo collector. He loved his career working with Denver Rescue Mission and all the people that came to the Mission. Mike had a strong love and following for his Lord and Savior that he shared and showed every day with the people he came into contact with. Mike was very close with his grandson Anthony, attending every if not all, of his basketball games. Mike took great pride in his family and all he had accomplished in his short lifetime. He has made an ever-lasting impression on everyone he spoke with, he is greatly loved and missed.
Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022 at 10:30am at All Saints Catholic Church with a Memorial Mass to immediately follow at 11:00am.
