Michael Rohan

Michael Lacy Rohan, age 67, of Denver, passed away July 12, 2013 while visiting his home in France. Mike was deeply loved by all. He was born in Denver on May 31, 1946, to Lacy Richard Rohan and Patricia McNamara Rohan. He is survived by his wife, Madelaine Rohan, whom he adored. His daughters, Siena and Anja Rohan, and his stepdaughter, Adrianne Lundy, all of whom who brought such light and love to his life. He is also survived by his five siblings: Kathleen Rohan Hague, Robert Rohan, Mary Albada, Deborah Schlueter, and Laurie Rohan, all of whom live in Denver, and eleven nieces, nephews and great nieces. Beyond his love and commitment to his family, Mike's deep caring extended to all those who worked with him, some for nearly twenty years. Mike will be greatly missed by his many colleagues, employees and friends around the country. His generosity changed so many lives in profound ways, and the impact of it affected many around the world. Mike was educated in Colorado high schools and graduated from Colorado State University. He lived and worked for several years in Aspen, Colorado, and also in San Francisco, first as a Certified Public Accountant, and later as a software designer. Mike was a true visionary and founded two successful businesses: FRx Software, now owned by Microsoft, and his current company, Rivet Software. Mike was a man of high integrity, incredible wit and great generosity. He is deeply loved and will never be forgotten. A prayer vigil and sharing of memories is scheduled for Sunday at 7:00 PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 1091 S. Colorado Blvd. in Denver. The funeral service is scheduled for Monday at 2:30 PM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 2626 E. 7th Ave. Pkwy, in Denver. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
