Michael “Mike” David Seivley, age 60, died peacefully in the arms of his family on Monday December 21, 2020 at their home in Westminster, Colorado after a courageous battle with cancer.
Mike was born on October 16, 1960 in Denver, Colorado. He graduated from Holy Family High School. He worked as a printer for 30 years until finding his true passion of working outdoors at the City of Westminster where he worked at Legacy Ridge Golf Course and as a Park’s Worker. In 1987, Mike married the love of his life, Jeanette, and they were partners in life for the next 33 years.
Mike is survived by his wife and daughters (Erin and Bianca), his parents Eldon and Katherine Seivley, and siblings Mark (Cindy), John (Vickie), and Janelle (Doug), as well as numerous nieces/nephews. He is preceded in death by his nephew Chance Michael Seivley.
Besides spending time with his family and friends, Mike had a passion for traveling, golfing, camping, hunting, being outdoors, and watching sports especially the Denver Broncos.
Mike was a strong and humble man that was incredibly proud of his family and the work he did. He was a friend to all and the easiest guy to get along with. He was all about having a good time and living life to its fullest. He touched many lives with his kindness, strength, and fun-loving spirit.
Mike’s visitation will be held on Monday December 28, 2020 from 5:00 to 7:30pm at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel 7577 W. 80th Ave Arvada, CO 80003. Please be advised that masks are required and there is a limitation of 50 people in the chapel at one time.
Mike’s Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday December 30, 2020 at 1:00pm. Due to COVID’s limitations, Mike’s family invites you to attend the celebration via livestream. Please join at https://bxcited.com/michaeldseivley/
