Michael Louis Smith

Michael Louis Smith, 63, CPO USN (Ret) set sail on his final deployment 28 November, 2008. Michael is the beloved Husband of Carrol, Father of C.J. (Cammie) Smith, Gina (Michael) Faust and Michele (Jeff) Noxon; Grandfather of Michael Wheeler, Jeffrey Wheeler, Katrina Gamueda-Smith, Austen Smith, Rachael Smith and Evan Smith; Great-Grandfather of Aubrey Dee Wheeler and Jeffrey Wheeler II; Brother to Susan Gancas and Patrick Dailey; Brother-in-Law to Patricia Waldron and Kate Hands; Honorary Adopted Son to Margie McClintock; and Friend of many around the globe. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Eva Smith; brother, Carl Smith, Jr., Mother-in-Law, Muriel Donahue; and his Honoray Adopted Father, Robert McClintock. Services in Michael's honor will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, 4 December, 2008 at Horan and McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant St., Thornton. Internment at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, Denver will follow.
