Michael Eugene Ward

Michael Eugene Ward, aged 69, passed away suddenly on August 14,2023.  Michael was born and raised in Alamosa Colorado to Bruce Eugene and Phyllis Marie Ward.  Michael began working at Denver Health after earning his Associate degree.  

Michael met his wife Dawn while living in Aztec New Mexico in March 1979 and married on July 28,1979.  

He worked at Denver Health for 37 years ,first as an X-ray technician and then moved into Ultrasound.  

Michael enjoyed riding his motorcycle and traveling with his wife and family.

He is survived by his wife, Dawn, their daughter,Amy Nicole, their son, William Eugene,their grandchildren, Trinity Rose, Trystan Michael, and Kyle Trey.  He is also survived by his siblings, nieces , nephews, and extended families.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents.

Michael’s wishes included cremation with his ashes spread in the mountains of Colorado which he loved.  A Memorial Service will be scheduled in December to Celebrate Michael’s life.
