Michele Del Negro

Michele Del Negro, 51, of Denver, passed away June 14, 2011. In addition to the 'Ëœlove of her life' for 27 years, Michael Perkins, Michele is survived by her mother, Mae Del Negro of Racine Wisc; sisters Nancy (Richard) Stepp of Peoria Ariz, Diane Haug of Racine Wisc, Denise (Thomas) Sorensen of Lakewood Colo, Annette (Marvin) Mianecki of Waterford Wisc and brothers Mark (Patricia) Del Negro of Racine Wisc Andrew (Carolyn) Del Negro of Racine Wisc and Daniel (Fay) Del Negro of Grafton Wisc. Michele is also survived by her sister-in-law, Beth Del Negro of Golden Colo and aunt Ruth of Brookfield Wisc along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and loving friends. She was preceded in death by her father Albert Del Negro and her brothers David and Michael Del Negro. Michele earned her master's degree in sociology from the University of Colorado, Boulder and worked as a social worker for all of her career. Michele and Mike traveled extensively throughout their life together. In the past year her beloved dog, Baboo, was the light of her life. Michele passed away after a courageous two-year battle with colon cancer. During her battle she was the inspiration that helped family and friends accept and cope. Michele's family would like to thank Dr. Lillian Klancar of Swedish Medical Center for her dedication and care of Michele during her illness.
