Mickey Coleman

Mickey Verne Coleman born February 9, 1945, passed peacefully in the early morning hours of July 13, 2021.  Mick was a native-born Texan and moved to Colorado after his service in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam.  After moving to Colorado, Mick met his wife of 48 years, Diana “Dee” Coleman.  Mick was a dedicated husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend.  Mick had a passion for history, trains, music, guns, old westerns and good whisky.  While not a native Coloradan, Mick’s knowledge and passion for all things Colorado was present every day.  He never lost faith in the Broncos and could tell you about their history, as he lived through most of it.  In keeping with Mick’s nature, a small memorial service will be held for only his family at this time, a larger celebration of life will be scheduled for a later date for extended friends and family.  At this time the family respectfully requests no flowers or donations be made.
