Miguel Rubio

Miguel Angel Rubio, 20, of Lakewood passed away on August 31, 2020. Born on May 21, 2000 in Denver, Colorado. He is the son of Nancy Rubio and Michael Rubio.

Miguel attended Golden High School, graduating in 2018. He enjoyed drawing, painting, movies, and video games. He will be remembered for his kind heart, making people laugh, and his great smile.

In addition to his mother, Nancy, he is survived by his twin sister Marisa and older sister Sabrina; his aunts and uncles Fernando, Ana, Griselda, and Gerardo; his cousins Steven, Daniel, Ruben, Angelina, Nathaniel, Jesse, Gerardo, and Annalicia; his maternal grandparents Maria and Fernando Hernandez, and paternal grandmother Erminia "Minnie" Rubio, aunts: Christy, Cynthia, Norma and Lori, uncles: Domingo Jr "Moe", and Danny, along with numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Domingo Rubio, aunts, and his great grandparents.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, unfortunately we are unable to extend the opportunity to everyone who would like to attend the services. The family would like to acknowledge and extend their gratitude to everyone who has expressed their love, prayers and support from near and far to us during this difficult time of loss. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 from 10:00am until 5:00pm at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel in Thornton, Colorado.
