Mike G. Plakorus, Ret.

Major Mike G. Plakorus, Ret. from Arvada passed away on Nov. 15. Mike is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mary; son, George; daughters, Patricia (Neil) and Joanne (Rich); 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary, Rose and Chris; brother, Nick and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Trisagion will be Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 7:30pm, and Funeral Service will be Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 10:00am, both at Saint Catherine Greek Orthodox Church located at 5555 South Yosemite Street in Greenwood Village, Colorado. Interment with full Army honors at Fort Logan National Cemetery located at 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard in Denver, Colorado. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mike's name to Saint Catherine Greek Orthodox Church, 5555 S. Yosemite St., Greenwood Village, CO 80111.
