Mildred J. Ellis, 88, of Denver, CO passed away Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011 in Denver. She was born in Havre, Montana January 22, 1923. She later moved to Seattle, WA, where she met and married Sherman N. Ellis of Denver. Sherm and Milly made their home together in Denver for more than 50 years where they raised their two children Karen and Bruce. Milly is survived by her son Bruce, her daughter-in-law Vicki, and grandsons Austin and Taylor Ellis of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by her son-in-law David Boggs, granddaughters Laurie Wiscomb, Melissa Howe, and Shannon Havecost, and four great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Sherman and her daughter Karen Boggs as well as several sisters and brothers. A funeral mass service is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 18 at 11:30am with Father Pat Dolan from Most Precious Blood Catholic Church officiating. Services will be held at Horan and McConaty, 1091 S. Colorado Blvd., Denver. Interment will take place on a later date at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Milly was a longtime member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in Denver.
