Mildred Harrison

Mildred Newton Harrison, 75, of Denver, Colorado, passed on October 28, 2020. She was born to Luther Samuel Newton and Mary Rilla Patterson in Macon, North Carolina on December 9, 1944.

She married Joseph Benjamin Harrison and created a home in Dundas, Virginia. Mildred enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing and spending time with family.  She was passionate about affecting the most positive changes in people. Mildred was the best daughter, sister, mother and grandmother you could ever ask for.

She is survived by her sister, Betty C. Williams; daughters, Mary Gay Harrison and Robin Lynn Newton; 9 grandchildren, Candace Berry, Daniel Dixon, Andrew Dixon, Matthew Dixon, Michelle Wright Reyes, James Wright, Alan Banes, Marvin Banes Jr., Robin Gabrielle Baird and 18 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, November 1, 2020 from 2-3 O’Clock in the afternoon at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 East Dartmouth Avenue in Aurora, Colorado.
