Mildred Ellen Kanipe

Mildred Ellen Kanipe, 87, of Fairhope, Alabama, was called home by the Lord on Tuesday, January 22, 2019. She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth M. “Ken” Kanipe.

Born July 10, 1931 in Springfield, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Wade and Thelma Phillips.

Mildred is survived by her three children; Linda Larson of Foley, Alabama, Darrel Kanipe of Highlands Ranch, Colorado and Lisa Coleman of Columbia, South Carolina. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M.-3:00 P.M followed by a Memorial Service at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday February 2, 2019 at Horan & McConaty Family , 5303 E. Countyline Rd. Centennial, Co 80122.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Colorado, 455 Sherman St.
