Mildred Marquez

Mildred Marquez, age 79, passed away on April 13, 2021 peacefully in her home. Mildred was born on October 30, 1941 to Juanita and Robert Salas in Trinidad, Colorado. She lived in Denver, CO and moved to San Francisco, CA in the early 1960’s and then back to Colorado in 1972 to raise her family.

Mildred was very creative and was an accomplished make-up artist and enjoyed managing one of the family salons.  Mildred loved doing all forms of artwork (paintings, sketching and crafts) with family.  More than anything Mildred loved to make people laugh and smile.  No matter what mood you were in she could make you smile.  She was married for 58 years to her best friend, Ernie.  Mildred loved her children and grandchildren unconditionally and was always there for support and love for each one.

Mildred is survived by her husband Ernest, sons Todd and Dana, Daughter-in laws Karen and Liz, grandchildren Jordan, Zack and Eli, her brother Raymond Salas and sister Maryann Romero.  She is preceded in death by her daughter Nicole Marquez.
