Mildred Kearney Rogers

Millie, 93, went home to be with the Lord March 11, 2015 surrounded by her children and grandchildren at The Denver Hospice Inpatient Care Center. Beloved mother of Steve (Ann) Kearney and Deborah (Dave) Schutt; loving grandmother of 9 grandchildren; adoring great grandmother of 17; sister of Gladys (Pinky) Neuharth, Wayne Beights and Everett Beights. She is also survived by the children of her second husband Anne Patterson, David and Mark Rogers and their families. She was preceded in death by her first husband Pastor Ray Kearney; second husband Dean Rogers; son David Kearney; grandson Jeremy Thornton; and sister-in-law Virginia Kearney. Millie stood alongside her husband as a pastor's wife who ministered to many people throughout their 50 years of ministry together. She was a choir director and soloist, but she was most proud of her family whom she loved dearly. Visitation Sunday, March 15, 5-7 PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 E Dartmouth Ave, Aurora. Service Monday, March 16, 10:30 AM at Smoky Hill Baptist Church, 19315 E Smoky Hill Rd, Centennial, CO 80015. Another Memorial Service will be held at Cherry Creek Retirement Village, 14555 E Hampden Ave, Aurora on Tuesday, March 17, at 1:30 PM.
