Milton Bostrom

Milton, 84, of Greeley, Colorado passed away March 23, 2011. Born June 24, 1926, in Hillrose, Colorado to John & Katie Bostrom. Serving in the US Army as Military Police during WWII, he received numerous medals. He married Rachel Nuss July 10, 1949 in Brush, Colorado where they made their home, farmed, and raised three daughters. He retired from farming in 1969 and joined Farmland Co-op as a manager until 1991 when he retired and moved to Greeley.

Preceded in death by his parents, six siblings, wife Rachel of 62 years, and two great grandchildren. Survivors include his daughters, Barbara (Dwight) Zundel, Carol (Pat) Toft, and Deb (Dale) Stone; eight grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

Celebration of Life will be Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at 10:00 AM, at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street, in Thornton, Colorado followed by committal with military honors at 1:30 PM, Fort Logan National Cemetery, Pavilion B, 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver, Colorado.
