Minnie Ethel Roberts (Lankford) Born 11-12-1916, Passed 11-18-2006 She was born in Oak Grove TN, was a long time resident of Richmond IN and spent the last ten years in Denver CO, where she resided at Harvard Square Retirement Center. Minnie was one of 8 children,( Luther, Marylilly, Robert, Fred, Amylee, Lucille and Edna) born to Noah and Emma Lankford. Minnie was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Roberts. She was the very proud mother and friend to Glenna Hale Lawless (Roberts) loving Grandmother to Denise Reynolds, Tera Hale and James Hale, doting Great Grandmother of Lacey Evans, Amanda and Stephanie Berhalter and Great Great grandmother to Shawn and Ethan Johns and Dreigh Evans She was a Registered Dietician and worked for the Richmond State Hospital for 27 years. Her passions included her family, cooking, gardening and exploring the world around her; she was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed sharing her many gifts with those she knew and loved. She always displayed a kind, compassionate and sunny disposition. While she was very independent she loved being surrounded by the people and things that made her happy. Minnie loved her camera and her beloved photographs of family and friends that always surrounded her. This wonderful loving, nurturing and giving person warmed every heart she touched. The world is short one angel today. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her and loved her. Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
