Mira Amelia Watson, beloved daughter and sister, passed away on April 8, 2022, after celebrating her 6th birthday with family and friends. Mira was born on March 23, 2016, in Aurora, CO to Levi and Maggie (Schultz) Watson. She lived with her mom and dad and with her older brother Emmett. Like many young girls, Mira loved princesses, dolls, and stuffed animals. She enjoyed dressing up, having tea parties, listening to music and especially dancing. She also had a fearless spirit and a great curiosity for the world around her, and she loved to swim, bike, and play outside. On a playground, she could always be found on a swing, giggling and calling out “higher, higher!” In the Spring and Summer, she would hike with family and find ladybugs in the yard. In the Fall, she would jump into leaf piles raked by her dad. In the Winter, she and her family would sled at nearby hills. Mira loved drawing, coloring, and reading. She was an exceptional student at Three Bears Learning Center and at Arrowhead Elementary School in Aurora, where she was loved by her teachers and made many friends. Her favorite person was her brother, with whom she could spend hours upon hours playing and being silly. Despite her youth, Mira was a keen and perceptive child who offered kindness and comfort to those around her. Her joyful giggle, beautiful smile, and sweet hugs brightened the lives of all she knew. Mira was preceded in death the same night by her mother, Maggie. She is survived by her father, Levi, and by her brother, Emmett. Like her mother, Mira was unique and joyful soul, and she will be dearly missed.
