Miriam ""Kay"" Kathleen King

February 21, 1937 — March 19, 2016

Kay has been a resident of Centennial, Colorado since 1989. She has been active in Aglow International since being spirit filled at a meeting in 1977. Her status as a servant to Jesus Christ and to her family has been a hallmark of her life. While her daughters, Elizabeth and Teresa, were growing up, the family moved frequently and the girls cherished the way that Kay made every new house in every new town a warm, loving, and happy home. Her grandchildren adored her because she showered them with love and attention, even from great distances. She loved all things created by God and was a supporter of the zoo, the Aquarium, and the Butterfly Pavilion. Her faithful service to first Corona Presbyterian in Denver and then Living Way Fellowship in Highlands Ranch will be missed. She is much beloved and honored by her daughters, their husbands, her step-grandchildren and grandchildren. Kay is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Edward King, loving parents, James Level O'Donahue and Helen Hendricks (Smith) O'Donahue, and her siblings Patricia (John) Pembrook and David (Patricia) O'Donahue. She is survived by her children, Elizabeth Kathleen (Royce) Robinson, Teresa Marie (Richard) Hamilton, grandchildren Niel (Laura) Hamilton, Cheri (Alan) Kressin, Jennifer Hamilton, Jonathan Hamilton, Joseph Robinson, and Tommy Robinson. Kay is also survived by her great-grandchild, Deklan Hamilton, and many nieces and nephews including Helen Pearl Pembrook, Sean O'Donahue, Kelli (O'Donahue) Page, Shannon O'Donahue, and one grand-niece Celie Page. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 East County Line Road, Centennial, Colorado. The Funeral Service that was to be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Living Way Fellowship Church, 345 Wildcat Reserve Parkway, Littleton, Colorado was cancelled due to the weather. Kay's family will be having a memorial service in June. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kay's honor to Central Colorado Aglow, 15704 East El Dorado Place, Aurora, Colorado 80013.
