LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST Morgan Desha Skinner was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Evelyn and Morgan Sr. on June 11, 1932. His younger brother Harry and Morgan graduated from Will Rodgers High School in Tulsa. Before leaving high school, Morgan met Ritis in typing class. They were married on October 26, 1951. The three children Rebecca, Timothy and Philip were born in Oklahoma before the big move to Colorado. Morgan had a storied career that included hospital administration, the aviation industry and small business ownership. He was president of the Northern Lights Little League Association and a Lion's Club member. Morgan was an avid football fan, but always rooted for the Broncos. He also enjoyed NASCAR racing. He had several collections including ERTL trucks and Lennox birds. He loved birds and enjoyed feeding and caring for them. But what Morgan cared most about was his loving family. Morgan is survived by his wife Ritis of 63 years; his partner, caregiver and best friend. His oldest child, Becky is married to Alan Buckbee and they have three beautiful daughters, Rachel, Laura and Kathryn. And they have gained two wonderful sons, Joseph and Cody. Morgan's oldest son, Timmy is married to Merrily and they enjoy ""grandparent-hood"" and mountain life in Idaho. His youngest son, Phil is married to Cindy and they have three grown sons, Scott, Sean and Steven. They have gained a loving daughter Christina and a great-granddaughter Nixi. He gained a brother in Donald, Ritis's brother. Finally, his younger brother Harry and his wife Patty, their daughter Leslie and her family round out this close family. Morgan was always known as Papa to all his family and he truly was the best Papa. He is preceded in death by his mother Evelyn, his father Morgan Sr. and grand-daughter, Susan Marie Buckbee. The family would like to thank their church family for their prayers and support, and Optio Palliative Care for their compassionate treatment during his illness. Services will be held at Central Christian Church located at 3690 Cherry Creek South Drive, Denver, CO 80209 on Tuesday February 17, 2015 at 10:00am. Memorial donations can be made to the church.
