Murdock Allen Nicholson, died on Monday, March 27th 2017 at his home in Denver. He was one of four children, the youngest and only boy. He joins his first wife Billie Ruth Nicholson and two of his sisters, Margaret and Helen, in Heaven. Murdock was an avid aviation buff who enjoyed building model airplanes as well as taking on the task of building a Rutan Long EZ plane in his garage at home. He had a curious mind, vast interests and could talk to anyone about anything. He graduated from UCLA with a degree in Geology and spent most of his life and career in Colorado. He was a WWII veteran. Most of all, Murdock loved to be at home with his family. He is survived by his daughters, Carole Ruth Nicholson and Kathryn Elaine McCarthy, sister Betty Flynn, and three grandchildren, Carter Cochrane, Kendall and Erin McCarthy. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 18 happy years, Irina Nicholson, who lovingly took care of him during his extended illness.
