Myra Nell Kaplan

Myra Nell Kaplan, 83, passed away on May 28, 2019 in Lone Tree, Colorado. Myra was born to Leland Maynard Kaps and Fredda Nell Kaps on October 29, 1935 in Pampa, Texas. After she graduated from high school Myra went on to earn her master's degree in education. Myra worked as a teacher for Denver Public Schools until she retired. During her teaching career she was honored as Denver Public Schools Teacher of the Year.

Myra is survived by her husband Richard Lee Kaplan; children Damon and Karrie Kaplan; and her grandchildren Kenzi, Jordan, Logan. Myra was preceded in death by her parents Leland Maynard Kaps, Freeda Nell Kaps; son Bernie Kaplan and brother Jess Ray Kaps.
