Myrna C. Meyer

Myrna Christena Meyer (nee MacKinnon) passed away on December 20, 2023 in Denver, Colorado at the age of 85. She was born on August 14, 1938, in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada to Cecil and Alda (Arbuthnot) MacKinnon. She was predeceased by her parents and brothers Dwayne and George. 

Myrna dedicated her life to caring for others and pursued a career in nursing. She received her RN certificate from the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal, Quebec. Myrna's compassionate nature and commitment to helping others made a significant impact on the lives she touched during her career as a nurse.

Beloved wife of 60 years to William (Tim) Meyer Ph.D. Loving mother of sons Tim Jr. and Andrew, and daughter Alexandra, and grandmother to Kelton. She travelled extensively as Tim's career took them to Canada, England, and Oklahoma before settling in Denver. In Denver, she worked as a Real Estate agent, in her free time she played competitive tennis and later enjoyed golf. She loved the many family dogs, art, fashion, shopping and finding a good sale. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing her. Myrna's legacy of kindness and selflessness will forever be cherished. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
